Dungeons are locations found randomly on islands.

Content

On islands around your world, you can discover and explore Dungeons to earn upgrades, collect loot, and uncover secrets. They are marked by a red doorway icon on the mini-map. The main goal of Dungeons is to progress until reaching a boss spirit. Defeating this spirit will reward you with one memory shard (up to 15) (used in the Magic Man's mirror Quests) and unlock a boss chest containing a guaranteed Moonstone among other rewards.
The final room of every Dungeon will have a Ando Tree in it, which will permanently increase your stamina by 10 (20 with the Ando Acolyte skill unlocked).
Some dungeons contains secret walls or teleporters that can be found by looking for a small icon.
Inside dungeons, you can see the number of chests left in the top-left corner. There is always at least 1 "rare" chest and 1 "boss" chest in each dungeon.

Exploration

There is 30 different dungeon layouts^[1]. The dungeon on Moonstone Island will always be the same.
Some layouts are mazes, some are combat gauntlets. Some rooms will also be "dark" (same light level as if it was night time) unless you have a Bulbot following you for its ability '"Totally Lit"'. You cannot use the Glider but you can use the Balloon or the Broom inside.
