A few of the spirits available in-game.

Spirits are one of the key features of Moonstone Island. They can be used for combat or the passive abilities they grant.

Each spirit is one of eight types (Earth, Water, Fire, Poison, Electric, Psychic, Ice or Dark) and has a unique ability that affects combat or other gameplay mechanics. They are found on their matching island type or during specific weather/seasonal conditions, and spawn around the player anywhere in the overworld except Moonstone Island. They can also be found as guaranteed spawns in Mines and Dungeons.

Spirits can be tamed in combat using Crops, or hatched from Spirit Eggs. Some spirits can only be obtained from hatching eggs.

Anywhere from 1-3 tamed spirits can be kept in the Medallion where they will assist in any combat encounter and confer their passive abilities to the player. Tamed spirits beyond those in the medallion must be put in the Spirit Barn and fed on a regular basis to prevent them from running away.

After succeeding in combat, spirits present will gain XP proportional to the banished enemies' spirit levels.

There is a 0.2% chance of any spirit being Holographic, which grants them an alternate color scheme and shimmering effect.
